elementary Dark is a soft and subtle dark theme based on the higly popular elementary theme by DanRabbit - [link]

The theme is compatible with the latest GTK 3.4 and uses the Unico engine. It also includes the elementary Dark GTK 2.0 theme using Murrine engine.

Ubuntu users can install elementary Dark from our themes PPA using the following commands,

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:satyajit-happy/themes
sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get install elementary-dark-theme

Installation Instructions for other distros:

Extract the zip file to the themes directory i.e. "~/.themes/" or "/usr/share/themes/"

Use Gnome Tweak tool to choose the theme, or run the following commands in Terminal,

gsettings set org.gnome.desktop.interface gtk-theme "elementary Dark"

gsettings set org.gnome.desktop.wm.preferences theme "elementary Dark"

Ubuntu 12.04 Software Center>App Details View has still light color. There is no way?
I have been waiting for the fix.

Sorry, but I won't maintain this theme anymore... Ubuntu Software Center uses custom css, hence it's not possible to fix every issue with it.

Hi. I won't update it anymore. You can however use the Dark version of Evolve GTK theme.
